CoolSense Smart Controller controls Air Conditioner by generating pre-learnt IR commands of Air Conditioner or by cutting ON/OFF AC Mains supply of Air Conditioner. It consists of RTC, RF Receiver, WiFi Module, IR Learner, IR Generator & Dry Contact.
It will connect with a WiFi Router. It can be installed by fitting on the front/sides/top of the ACs or in Distribution Board (DB).

CoolSense is a product of MEMIGHTY. It initiated as an idea to develop customized energy saving solution for corporates and soon set to be developed into a full- fledged energy saving solution for all Public Air Conditioner applications. Since its inception, it has changed the way ACs are controlled in more than 250 Corporates, Schools, Hospitals. Hotels, etc.
Often when people leave their offices/cabins, they leave their Air Conditioners turned ON. This can extend for more than 2-3 hours which leads to high energy wastage.
Often in public Air Conditioner applications, people set the temperatures of their ACs lower than 18-20 °C which doesn’t let Air Conditioner to cut-off compressor because room temperature rarely (seldom) reaches at such low temperature range, this leads to high energy wastage.

In public Air Conditioner applications, people often leave ACs running during break hours, after office hours, before office hours, etc. which leads to energy wastage.
With custom delay time setting and re-triggering using CoolSense App, CoolSense can accurately detect whether someone is present in the room or not.
In-built Room Temperature Sensor in CoolSense is used to set threshold temperature for turning ON the Air Conditioners. The threshold defines whether Air Conditioner is required to turn ON or not. If Room Temperature is greater than the threshold, then only ACs are turned ON (provided human motion is detected). This is useful in changing seasons.
With In-built RTC in CoolSense you can schedule when Air Conditioners shall be turned ON and schedule turn OFF. This eliminates misuse of Air Conditioners in OFF hours.
Scene - 1: School/Colleges - Assume that School timings are from 7:30 AM to 1 PM, during this time, if temperature is more than 25 degree Celsius and somebody is present in the classroom then AC must turn On at 24 degree Celsius else remain Off… Outside of the schedule, AC remains Off!
Scene - 2: Private Offices - Assume that Office timings are from 9 AM to 5 PM, during this time, if person is in the cabin then AC turns On. If the person exits the cabin & returns within pre-set delay time (For e.g: 30 minutes) then AC remains ON. It turns OFF if person doesn't return within 30 minutes. Outside of the schedule, AC remains Off!
Scene - 3: Bedroom - Assume that you enter your bedroom after 9 PM, AC turns On on turbo cooling; At midnight, AC is triggered to run on 24 degree celsius. At the stroke of dawn, AC turns Off… Outside of the Schedule, AC remains Off!

CoolSense is ideal for any situation where air conditioning is left running in unoccupied rooms, unnecessarily increasing running costs, maintenance costs and wear and tear.
CoolSense is specifically designed to reduce energy wastage by automatically turning off air conditioning in rooms left empty.
CoolSense will sense when the air conditioner is running and scan the room to check that it is occupied. When no occupancy has been detected for a pre-set time (adjustable between 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes (or more)) a signal will be transmitted to the air conditioner to switch it off.
CoolSense uses passive infrared technology and smart software to scan the air conditioned room for occupancy. If the room is left empty then after a pre-set time, CoolSense will automatically switch the AC off by sending an IR signal that emulates the ‘Off’ signal of the AC remote. Thus ensuring that the AC shuts down correctly each and every time.. CoolSense also has other unique functions to customise the operating settings to precisely suit each application, including Day/Night settings to prevent accidental switch offs when occupants are asleep.

Yes. CoolSense has variable settings to suit all types of rooms and all types of situations including bedrooms.
CoolSense can be set for bedrooms by configuring real-time clock schedule for one’s bed time. When a person enters bedroom after the scheduled time, CoolSense will turn ON Air Conditioner using human motion detection. The Sensor delay for rooms such as bedrooms can be set for more than 2 or 3 hours (as suitable) to accommodate least motion detections when people are asleep and not moving much. This functionality justifies schedules for both day or night as some people may take a nap during the day time.
CoolSense is straight forward to install and set up. Because the AC units are 240 volts they must be installed by either an air conditioning technician or an electrician. CoolSense comes with a Long Range, high sensitivity PIR Motion Sensor (3 Detector, 360°) with a range of 8-10 meters. For larger rooms, extra sensors can be added for accommodating larger sensing range.
